It's Twilight!

Ahhhhh.....twilight. The book series that has become an obsession for many people I know, including myself! We love Edward. We love Bella. We even love Jacob. We wished we lived in Forks. What can I say, sometimes you come across books that you can't put down. So when the DVD based on the first book was released last weekend, I decided to throw a party. We ate, we played twilight jeopardy and we watched THE movie. I think everybody had a really good time.



My mantle was festive for the occasion.

Luke printed up some twilight Tshirts to give as favors and Mandy decorated them with tags.

I made a photo op by cutting out Bella's picture from the movie poster. We all had a blast posing with it! This is Hollie and her new boyfriend:-)

Disney Mania - Last Post I promise!!!

I Heart Mickey

Jackson seeing MICKEY MOUSE was the cutest thing I've ever seen in my life. It was like he genuinely loved them!

Epcot Fireworks

Nobody does fireworks like Disney. These are some pics from the Epcot Fireworks show.

All the lands shoot fireworks over the lagoon. I think theres a storyline but you're so in awe, you don't really notice.

The Universe Outside the World

Matt and I had scheduled two days to do the two Universal parks...Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios. The crowds were so light we were able to do both parks in one day. They were way cool. When Jack gets big, I'd like everybody to go back. They give Disney a serious run for their money with all the detail and the quality of attractions.
IOA (Islands of Adventure) has a Dr. Seuss land. The details are really cool for Seuss lovers. There's rides by the dozen for you and your cousins......

Poisedon's Fury is a combination stage show/attraction with water blasts, lasers, animatronics, live action, and digital effects. Some of the tricks left us scratching our heads as to they pulled it off.

This is Dudley Do Right's Ripsaw Falls. It was too cold to ride but they looked real neat. (Notice the empty boat!!)

Toon Town with alot of detail.

We enjoyed Marvel Comic Island the best. We rode Spiderman and the Hulk. Spiderman is the most unique ride I've ever been on.

Matt and Wolverine.

This is me in front of the Hulk. It shoots you up the first hill and by the time you crest the top you're going 90 miles an hour and pulling 3G's. Pretty awesome.

Toy Story Mania!

Disney's Hollywood Studios has a new ride....Toy Story's Midway Mania. It was by far the group hit for the day. It's sort of a combination of a shooting ride, arcade game, and 3D movie. Very cool.

In the mornings, everyone lines up to rush to toy story. By the time we got there, the wait was 35 minutes already! Insanity! So we went ahead and got a fast pass to come back later in the day and we were glad we did!

The talking Mr Potato head in the line of Toy story is way cool. He tells jokes and interacts with the crowd. Where does Disney come up with this stuff?
