Day One Continued

After Leanin' Tree Museum we went to the Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR). I like everything to do with science and can usually spend hours in places like this, however this museum is a dud. The coolest things about it were a)the "super" computers that are about the size of my house that run 24/7 to analyze data about the weather and atmosphere. Too bad these computers can't explain global warming! Ha! and b) the walking trails that give you a commanding view of Boulder below.

After NCAR we were hungry so we found a place called Wahoo's Fish Tacos. The name fortunately does not say it all. This place was awesome.....very very fresh Tex-Mex with an almost oriental influence. It sounds strange but it was delicious. (Luke, you would love this place, remember those fish tacos you had in California....yeah, this place was nothing like that!)

Tonight we went to Vicki Terry's for dinner and watched the Alabama game, she had a delicious spread of food for us and we had a great time. Stay tuned for more.....
