Day One in the Rockies!

This morning we decided to check out the Celestial Seasonings Plant where they make all the herbal tea. I don't have any pictures of it because they wouldn't allow photography, that that place was cool. This one location produces all the Celestial Seasonings tea shipped across the country and the world. We went on a tour to see how the tea is made and then got to sample any of the 100 kinds of tea that they make. We aren't really hot tea drinkers, but some of the flavors were out of this world. During the tour they take you in the "Mint Room" which was so strong that it made your eyes water and your sinuses open from the menthol in the tea leaves.

After that, our guide recommended a trip to the Leanin' Tree museum, which is only about a mile away. This museum houses one of the largest collections of Western Art in the world. They have a garden where there are about 25 monumental bronze statues.

This one is very realistic.
This one is called "Sound of Autumn" and is an elk bugling. It stands 12 feet tall and weighs about 1250 pounds!
Matt took a break from pretending not to know me, so he could snap this picture. Little does he know this is the closest I will ever get to being in on a horse!
